The United States League of Tea Growers

Even though North America is dominated by coffee, tea is emerging thanks to health and wellness trend specially among younger generation. Hawaii is known for her tea for few decades, but the passion of tea growing has already spread to USA mainland as well. Charleston tea plantation in South Carolina is the best example comes to my mind. Since USA is the No 1 viewer of “Tea with Nipun” website with 2809 users so far, I decided to bring more information on “The United States League of Tea Growers” (USLTG) for USA tea enthusiasts and of course specially for those who wish to grow tea in the US mainland.

Objectives of This reputed organization are to pass knowledge for specialty tea growing, encourage collaboration between tea growers, promote tea agriculture, recruit academia to teach “best practices” for growers, and represent US tea growers across the world.
