Champagne of Teas: An Evening with Kevin Gascoyne
Even though Tea is the most consumed beverage after water, it’s not the same in North America (Specially in Canada & USA). But due to emerging health and wellness trend, tea is gaining in popularity specially among younger generation. With this background Tea and Herbal Association of Canada (https://www.tea.ca/) has organized an even called “Champagne of Teas, an Evening with Kevin Gascoyne”
It’s going to be a screening of Kevin Gascoyne’s documentary “Champagne of Teas” and a tea tasting of spring teas from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and India. As Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.ca/) had posted Kevin Gascoyne has been traveling to the Himalayas as a tea-taster and buyer for over 25 years. The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) sent a documentary film crew to follow him on his annual quest for the select lots that represent the finest that the gardens of Darjeeling have to offer.
Following the screening, guests will sample fresh spring teas from Sri Lanka and India and have a Questions & Answers session with Kevin.
