Tea is a way of life in Great Britain. Following Portuguese Princess Catherine’s introduction of tea in 1660 AD, Brits slowly developed their love affair with this wonderful beverage. Eventually it became the national beverage in the country. Tea also provided Brits refreshment, health, stimulation and relaxation to build a massive empire all the world. Introduction

The Great British Tea Festival brings together independent tea brands from all over the nation for an event which celebrates all things tea, from tasting some of the world’s finest teas to listening to presentations from some of the world’s top tea connoisseurs.

Participants will have the pleasure to join in tea tastings, try and buy, meet some of the leading tea experts in the world and even have your photo taken, whilst having tea with the Queen!

Featuring a pop-up tea room, and music from the MAKK string quartet, The Great British Tea Festival is the perfect opportunity to calm down, sip and experience the world of tea.
